Learning about sensation and perception is an important part of any introductory psychology course and there is probably hardly a course on the topic that does not include practical elements in one form or another. This is part two of a two-part poster, in which we present an article that was recently accepted for publication in the special issue of Visual Cognition about teaching sensation and perception. In the article, we describe eleven practical exercises complementing the lecture on sensation and perception. This is the theoretical part, where we provide an overview of the exercises with theoretical background, materials, procedure, learning objectives, and our experiences from ten semesters on what worked well and what not so much. We also present strategies for online delivery or suggest alternative exercises that can be implemented both in remote and in-person settings. Instructions for all exercises are available in German, English, and Spanish as open educational resources that can be reused, shared and modified. If you want to try out some of the activities for yourself, make sure to check out part one as well. We are looking forward to seeing you!
