EMOB25-163
Presented by: Warangkana In-iao
Thailand is a country with the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 and net zero by 2065. One of the key sectors is reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the transportation sector, which is the basis for setting the target of producing 30% electric vehicles in the country by 2030, or 30@30.
EGAT, as a key state-owned enterprise in the energy sector, has been assigned the task of developing the infrastructure for electric vehicle charging stations. As a result, EGAT has launched a project to develop a management system for electric vehicle charging stations under the name BackEN EV. This system is used to manage more than 300 EleX by EGAT charging stations. In addition, EGAT has made this system available to commercial electric vehicle charging station operators who wish to install and operate stations, enabling them to run their businesses at appropriate costs. Currently, there are more than 100 users of the service.
BackEN EV has also integrated many additional functions, such as EV charging power management, asset management, and customer convenience features. With support for open protocols like OCPP, OCPI, and OSCP, the platform offers flexibility, scalability, and high-quality services to users across the nation.
