Teaching with AI Teaching Assistant Pro (Part II of a Two-Part Action Lab)
Presented by: Ron Owston
This Action Lab explores how AI Teaching Assistant Pro can help educators prepare course materials more efficiently while maintaining academic judgement. Participants will work with features that support the creation of syllabi, quizzes, slides, study guides, short instructional videos, and Syllabus Q&A resources. The session focuses on practical decisions about when AI saves time, when outputs require revision, and how generated materials can remain accurate, course-specific, and pedagogically sound. Through guided testing and discussion, participants will examine issues of privacy, intellectual property, security, and responsible use, and leave with realistic ideas for applying the tool in their own teaching contexts.
