Teaching with AI Tutor Pro (Part I of a Two-Part Action Lab)
Presented by: Ron Owston
This Action Lab examines how AI Tutor Pro can support independent study and teaching in higher education. Participants will test selected features, including voice interaction, verified STEM answers, agent-based support, and LMS integration, while discussing where AI tutoring is useful, where caution is needed, and how it fits within sound teaching practice. The session emphasizes practical classroom use, student guidance, and institutional questions such as privacy, intellectual property, security, and trust. Through hands-on exploration and peer discussion, participants will consider how AI Tutor Pro can be introduced responsibly and leave with concrete ideas for implementation in online and face-to-face courses today.
