Modelling of Worn Tool Temperature Distribution in Orthogonal Cutting

In this study, an analytical temperature distribution model in orthogonal cutting conditions for worn tool is presented. The developed model is a step ahead from the previous ones as it includes the complicated friction region at the secondary and third deformation zone.Moreover, the effect of the hone radius is also included in the model. The proposed model is verified with experiments and good aggreement is observed.
