Climate change is unprecedent risk which human have not experienced before today. It is accepted that the people are generally worries about the global warming. However, it is also fact that there are a lot of skeptics for climate change. Those skeptics did not believe the risk and other fact related with the climate change. Skeptics regarded the present scientific findings supporting the climate change as being false artifacts.
Our study aims to explore who are skeptics for climate changes. For this work, we set up environmental skepticism as dependent variables and three factors, such value, perception and structure as independent variables. Value refers to the environmentalism, post-materialism and religiosity. Perception is about perceived risk, perceived benefit, affect, and knowledge. Finally, the structure is about gender, social class and income which constrain the individual’s action.
We believe that our study contributes to finding out who are skeptics for climate change and what factors influence them.
