In this study, we try to find out the determinants of people's consciousness and action for preventing the global warming. Climate change is the most serious environmental problem that threatens human survival today. scientists see global warming caused by greenhouse gases as a cause of climate change. Climate change causes natural disasters such as sea-level rise, extreme drought and floods, and huge typhoons. Humankind accepts these phenomena as warnings of nature, and many industrialized countries are trying to solve the problems of climate change.
Various policy measures are being proposed to solve the global warming. Such policy instruments includes the Emission Trading Scheme, the Clean Development Mechanism, and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Individual countries are making institutional efforts such as national GHG emission statistics and greenhouse gas emission trading system. In addition, it is attempting to raise awareness of the people by mobilizing electricity conservation campaigns. In this study, we use regression analysis to know which factors people’s consciousness and actions. The predictors incldue perceived benefit, equality, knowledge, experience, and emotional response).
