Eurostat carried out an EU-survey during March 2020 on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the EU-SILC data collection across countries. The mode of data collection was impacted the most. The survey on the impact of COVID-19 will be repeated in October 2020 . The main issue for EU-SILC data collection was that statistical offices were not able to conduct face-to-face interviews with households. Since Statistics Denmark conducted Computer Assisted Web Interviews for EU-SILC, Denmark successfully conducted the EU-SILC data collection . The experience of Denmark and other countries is reflected in the paper.
