In this paper, we focus on facilitating search and discovery of statistical data, without addressing issues of interoperability. We present a prototype based on selected datasets and textual material from Eurostat database. In practice, we complement the (structured) information provided by metadata from Eurostat data portal with the (semi-structured) textual information from Eurostat online website. We build a pseudo Knowledge Graph that holds just enough information to make some of these resources findable and searchable, but that also contains the metadata to identify a particular representation of these resources in the traditional database.
