Measurement and communication of uncertainty in official statistics labeled ”COMmunicating UNcertainty In Key Official Statistics” (Comunikos) of which this paper presents part of the outcome. This paper aims at presenting an approach to provide quantitative measures of uncertainty associated to macroeconomic statistics using a sound and robust statistical methodology.
