In 2017 Eurostat started a project on modernization of data collection in two diary-based social statistics domains: Household Budget and Time Use Survey. Two Task Forces consisting of experts from National Statistical Institutions and research centres are part of this project. The project included setting up an inventory of innovative tools and sources that are used or developed in the European Statistical System in order to support the data collection for both HBS and TUS. Our aim is informing participants on the purpose of this inventory, its content, maintenance and updating plans, and providing information on its access.
