New horizon in anti-aging skin care
Keynote Lecture
Presented by: Tomonobu Ezure
Anti-aging skin care is one of the hottest fields in cosmetics, and cutting-edge skin research is essential to develop innovative skin care products that can provide an impact above and beyond consumers’ expectations.
We have been contributing to anti-aging skin care research from an early stage, establishing definitions of the features of facial aging, and developing new research methodologies based on cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI). We have established a wide-ranging theoretical basis for facial anti-aging strategies. For example, we have identified “anchoring structure” that retains facial morphology, aging-related “dermal cavitation”, the “dermal-cell network” as an anti-aging system of skin, and the “dynamic belt” as a facial anti-gravity system. We have also applied these findings to develop new skincare products, active ingredients, beauty methods, and devices, as well as regenerative approaches.
Here, I will share our work on anti-aging skincare, ranging from basic information to the latest research topics and prospects for the future. I will use visual materials, and also focus on topics of broad interest, such as facial morphology, aiming to provide insight into the current state-of-the-art in anti-aging skin care both for researchers and for the general audience.
